Reinout van den Bergh, studied photography and audiovisual design at the St. Joost School of Fine Art and Design in Breda, the Netherlands.
Since 2006 Reinout van den Bergh is curator of the BredaPhoto International Photo Festival. He also supervises the students and graduates of the festival's international talent program. Van den Bergh works as a photographer and audiovisual designer. In his long-term documentary projects, which span all continents, he addresses social issues and political grievances. In his most recent photo project Eboundja, published in 2020 by Kehrer, he has been following the fishing village of the same name in southern Cameroon since 2011, whose 30 families live in great uncertainty about their future.
