Maja Dyrehauge Gregersen

Maja Dyrehauge Gregersen is the manager of the Copenhagen Photo Festival. Under her leadership, the festival has strengthened its focus on experimentation and sustainability as well as a strong international focus and long-term collaborations throughout Europe. As a festival manager, she is concerned with the encounter between photography and the viewer. This involves the overall framing of a work, the presentation as a whole, and broadening the viewer's perspective on things. She says of herself, "I personally have a very straightforward approach to photography: I have to be moved by what I see or I have to be convinced by a strong and consistent concept."
