Heide Häusler is an art historian with a focus on photography. Following various professional stops as a curator, project manager and editor in Cologne, Düsseldorf, Berlin and Frankfurt, she was exhibition director of Fotofestival Mannheim, Ludwigshafen, Heidelberg (now Biennale für aktuelle Fotografie) from 2009-2016. Since 2013 she has been managing Photoszene Köln, defining its orientation and activities in conjunction with the Artistic Board. Most recently she joined Stefanie Kreuzer in curating the exhibition “Next Generations. Aktuelle Fotografie Made im Rheinland” at Museum Morsbroich in Leverkusen in 2019. Her particular interest lies in artistic, conceptual photography.
