In Situ: Photostories on Migration Private photographs combined with public photographs of urban life This exhibition focuses on the many and varied stories of migrant workers and their influence on the urban profile and history. Their private photographs tell of the transformation and rejuvenation of Cologne and other Rhine region cities due to immigration between 1955 and 1989. City photographs from the Museum Ludwig collection are on show alongside the private photographs and interviews from contemporary witnesses.
