VALLEY
For his photo series, the photographer repeatedly travelled up and down one section of the Rhine from 2017: the Upper Middle Rhine Valley with its countless castles and historical localities. This World Heritage region has been a place laden with romantic longing since the 19th century, not only due to tourism marketing but also to artists such as William Turner, who painted countless vistas here from 1817. The photo series exhibits a new portrait of this landscape.
