Still Waters… Water Stills With his “Dance of the Ferries”, Andreas Helweg captures light trails from car ferries on the Rhine and reveals serpentine routes that remain invisible without photography. Dmitri Broido’s photographs convey a feeling of mysticism and impenetrability. Images are characterized by the milky surface, punctuated with stone formations. Hazy transitions provide only a hint of size ratios. The beholder becomes embroiled in an optical conflict between the two elements.
