Photographic attacks in public space Artists: András Szombathy, Beatriz Simões, Brendon Berisha, Byron Christopher Co, Catarina Ramos, Ekaterina Bobrova, Eradzh Yakubov, Samson Oluwarotimi Akande, Israa Barghash, Julian Spath, Tamara Bertran, Chih-Ning Tsai, Noelia Parra Dalmau under the direction of Prof. Iris Utikal and Prof. Michael Gais. The Köln International School of Design (KISD) implemented a photo project with the Photoszene and media partner Ströer last year. Students of Prof. Iris Utikal and Prof. Michael Gais examined advertising in public space and its architectural, social, cultural and political impact in independent photographic works. The students' series will be on display in public spaces during the Photoszene Festival 2021 on Ströer's digital advertising media, as well as on the exterior façade of the KISD, Ubierring 40.
