In her work, Judith Röder draws a symbiotic link to the world: using various materials and techniques she leads us into nature, which goes beyond the specifically human and subjective. In her films, shot using an analogue 16mm Bolex camera, she presents to us image sequences that she recorded in her Volcanic Eifel homeland – a low mountain range in Western Germany between Trier and Koblenz.
