With “HERBERT LIST Italia”, the Karsten Greve gallery is delighted to announce a photo exhibition that presents around fifty surreal-looking black-and-white shots by the German camera artist Herbert List (1903-1975). An eclectic mix of ancient ruins, significant places, portraits and street scenes, List’s works, created between 1930 and 1961 in Italy, luminous land of longing, are a mosaic of past and present, art and everyday life.
