Roland Barthes' "La chambre claire" from 1980 is a standard work of analogue photography. His "It has been so" is paradigmatic for a certain view of photography in analogue times. Michael Reisch processed five photographs reproduced in the book using an iPhone and a consumer AI app. The app recognises people in the picture and automatically removes them with one click. The files edited with the AI app are displayed on screens/tablets.
