Return to Sender Dietmar Schneider’s reworked artist portraits at the artothek Dietmar Schneider began following the art scene with his photographic camera in the 1960s. Along the way, numerous artist portraits were taken, which were edited, added to or corrected by the portrait-sitters in the spirit of their creation and finally sent back to Schneider. External perception and self-presentation are combined and refer to corresponding artworks from the artothek collection.
