Faces Figures Surroundings Ibo Minssen Ibo Minssen, born in Cologne in 1936, resident here, retired judge. He has been devoted to photography since age 14, it became his passion. Exhibitions already early on, “photokina-Plakette” award in 1956. Publications, including his own photo books. Preferred themes: lateral views of urban surroundings and the impressiveness of random encounters – phenomena of the impromptu with its very specific aesthetic.
